Life Whisperer Genetics AI is predictive of live birth outcomes

AI Healthcare company Presagen, in collaboration with Ovation Fertility (USA), presented a recent study on Life Whisperer at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) 2022 Scientific Congress, Oct 2022.

Life Whisperer uses Artificial Intelligence to assess images of IVF patients’ embryos to evaluate their quality, in order to improve IVF outcomes. Life Whisperer uses two AI algorithms. Life Whisperer Viability AI assesses how likely embryos are to lead to a pregnancy, and Life Whisperer Genetics AI non-invasively assesses embryo genetic integrity.

In a previous study, it was shown that Life Whisperer Genetics AI was able to predict whether an embryo was likely to be genetically normal, or euploid, just by analyzing an image of the embryo.

This recent finding showed that the same AI was also predictive of live birth. That is, embryos which Life Whisperer Genetics AI identified as highly likely to be euploid were much more likely to lead to a live birth for IVF patients.

This study is important for the IVF and AI industries because it further validates the potential for AI imaging to provide a non-invasive, low cost, and instant assessment of embryo genetic integrity to support IVF treatment.
