Life Whisperer, an AI startup in the fertility sector, has won two SA iAwards: Start Up of the Year, and Big Data / Machine Learning Innovation of the Year.
iAwards is the premier technology awards platform in Australia delivering the most comprehensive awards program which recognizes the achievements and innovation made in ICT across all facets of the economy. The iAwards honors companies at the cutting edge of technology innovation. The key goal of the iAwards is to discover, recognize and reward the ICT innovations that have the potential to, or are already having a positive impact on the community – at home, in the office and on a global scale.
Life Whisperer won the awards for its innovation that applies non-invasive AI-driven image analysis, including machine and deep learning, to conduct morphological assessment of embryos to assist in the selection of viable embryos for IVF implantation. The technology aims to improve successful outcomes for IVF couples, which currently have low success rates.
Life Whisperer’s co-founder Dr Michelle Perugini said “We are delighted to have won two awards, not only to recognize the significance our innovation can have on the lives of people wanting to have children, but the potential to be a great world-leading business in the fertility sector.”
Inventor of the technology, Life Whisperer Founder Dr Jonathan Hall said “We are now looking forward to representing Life Whisperer at the national iAwards in August”.
