Life Whisperer’s AI to be presented in multiple research studies at major European fertility conference, ESHRE 2023

AI healthcare company Presagen will be featured in two new international clinical studies at the prestigious European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) 2023 Annual Meeting in June 2023, in Copenhagen, Denmark. One is an independent study by the global fertility group IVI-RMA, which has over 70 fertility centers in 9 countries. The research was peer-reviewed and awarded an oral presentation. It shows that Life Whisperer’s AI can be effectively applied to post-thawed embryos, even though the AI was initially trained on pre-thawed embryos.

The second study was conducted with clinics across the globe including USA, SE Asia, Spain, and India. These studies provide further clinical evidence of the benefits of Presagen’s Life Whisperer suite of AI products to support IVF and fertility treatment. The aim is to improve outcomes for patients, including reducing the time and cost to achieve a successful IVF outcome.

Life Whisperer will also be exhibiting with its global distributor FujiFilm Irvine Scientific, which will have a major presence at the event as one of the dominant players in the fertility industry. Summary: The aim of the study was to determine the effect of time-point on performance of a non-invasive artificial intelligence (Life Whisperer AI) algorithm for evaluating embryo genetic status. The study found that while predictive ability was maintained across different time-points on day 5, optimal performance for ranking and selecting euploid embryos was observed at 120 hours post-fertilization.

Prediction of implantation of vitrified-warmed blastocysts using a deep learning algorithm on a single post-warming image of each embryo

Summary: The aim of the study was to determine if a deep learning algorithm can predict the implantation likelihood of vitrified blastocysts from a single time-point post-warming time-lapse images obtained from EmbryoScope. The study found that there was a significant positive correlation between the score given by the deep learning algorithm (Life Whisperer) and the implantation rate of the frozen blastocysts analyzed.
